Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder

Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well! Today I will be telling you all about my new Holy Grail setting powder. As you can probably tell from the title, it's called Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder. I. Am. In. Love.

I heard about this powder a while back, but totally forgot about it until the other day when I was watching a YouTube video, and the girl said that this was one of her Holy Grail drugstore products. I immediately remembered hearing about this powder, so I went on a hunt. I'm not sure where else sells this powder, but I found it at Walgreen's. If I hadn't been specifically looking for this powder, I would never have even seen it. They had them all the way down at the end of the makeup wall, almost under the nail polish section, on the bottom shelf in between some other random items. But I found it. And I'm soooooo glad I did. This has officially replaced my Rimmel Stay Matte powder! And I love that they named it after my dog, Coty. Okay, they didn't really name it after her... but let me just think that, okay? Haha, let's get into the post!

Here is what it looks like. Packaging isn't too bad, considering it is a cheap drugstore product.

This retails for around $6-7, and you get A LOT of product for the money.

It only comes in one shade. It's translucent, so it won't make your makeup look any lighter or darker. Like other loose powders like this, it does get very messy. VERY messy. But it's powder, and easy to wipe up, so I don't mind that. Another thing I noticed when I opened it was the smell. It has a very strong scent. It smells very strongly of that cheap makeup scent. It reminds me a lot of the old Cover Girl loose powder smell, if you all remember that. But stronger. If you are not a fan of that smell, you will hate this. I don't mind it. It's not a smell that lingers on my face all day. I just smell it when I put it on, then I forget all about it.

It is extremely finely milled, which means that it has a very thin, soft consistency. It's not chalky at all. It applies beautifully, and doesn't move my makeup around at all. It doesn't leave a white cast either, which makes me very happy!

This is a picture of how it looks first thing in the morning. Not thick or cakey looking. It seriously makes you look like you have no pores. It's freakin' amazing. Also, I wanted to take these pictures in light that everyone else would see themselves in. No special lighting. It looks weird here because I have my makeup light on. I meant to take a picture of the time, but I forgot. It was about 6:15am when I took this though. Normally, by 10:30am I would be a complete oil slick.

I forgot to take a picture of the time here too, haha. Terrible blogger, I know. But I took this last night at 8:30pm. This is how it looked 14 hours later with NO touch-ups. No joke. This is with no special lighting, and using flash photography so that you all could see what it really looks like. I am a little shiny on my forehead and around my nose, but that's it. When I told you above that I'm usually an oil slick 4 hours after applying my makeup, I mean I can actually wipe straight grease off my face. It's disgusting, but it's true. This stuff kept me looking relatively matte for at least 10 hours (for real) before I started getting shiny. I'm not kidding. This stuff is amazing. And it kept my foundation looking flawless. Normally after 14 hours of wear, my foundation would be worn and patchy looking. But it still looks great! The first time I wore it, I couldn't believe it. I still can't. But it really works. It's my new Holy Grail powder, and will be a staple on my wedding day!!
