Hey guys! I hope you've had a great weekend. Today's look is another fun, colorful look. I know I've done a look very similar to this before, but I have this Makeup Geek eyeshadow I wanted to use soooooo bad, haha. So, this is what I came up with. I hope you all like it! If you want to see how I created this look, then please keep on reading!
| Starting off bare-faced, as usual. |
We're going to start off with the eyes today. I took Makeup Geek "Peach Smoothie" and applied that into the crease as my transition shade.
| Like so... |
| Next, I used Makeup Geek "Cupcake" in the crease as well. |
| I built that color up until I got the payoff I wanted. |
| For the lid color, I used Makeup Geek "Grandstand." SUCH a beautiful foiled shadow! |
| This picture doesn't do justice to this shadow. It's seriously amazing. |
| This is what I have so far. |
| I went in with a fluffy brush, with no extra product, and blended everything out so there were no harsh lines. |
| I wanted more depth in the outer V of the eye. For that, I used Makeup Geek "Bitten." |
| Darkening up that crease! |
| And again, I went in with that fluffy brush just to blend everything out. |
| To clean up underneath my eyes, and to give my eyes a sharper edge, I used these Neutrogena makeup remover wipes. |
| Like so. |
| To create a thin winged liner, I used the Kat Von D Tattoo liner in "Trooper." |
| Liner is done! |
| For foundation, I used the NARS Luminous Weightless foundation in the shade "Santa Fe." |
| Great foundation! |
| And for concealer, I used NARS Radiant Creamy concealer in the shade "Honey." |
| All blended! |
| To set the concealer, I used the Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette. I used the middle shade in the palette - Incandescent Light. |
| Eyes are set, and have a bit of a glow :) |
| To set the rest of the face, I used MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in the shade "Medium Plus." |
| Face is set! |
| Next, to fill in my brows I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the shade "Medium Brown." |
| Yay, brows are done! |
| Now for the fun part! This is the shadow I was talking about at the beginning of this post - Makeup Geek "Shark Bait." Such an awesome color!! |
| I went in and smoked that color out all along the bottom lash line. |
| Don't be afraid to take that color pretty low. |
| To make that color pop a little more, I used the L'Oreal Silkssime liner in the color "Cobalt Blue" to line my lower waterline. |
| I then applied a bit of mascara... |
And a few trio lashes!
| To brighten up the "Shark Bait color, I went into the Urban Decay Electric Palette and picked up some of the shade "Chaos" and applied that right to the lower lash line. |
Now we're talking!
| I then took "Fringe" - also from the Electric Palette - and applied that on the outer 3rd of the lower lash line. |
| Like so... |
| To really make that lower lash line stand out, I used this NYX Color Mascara in the shade "Blue Dream- CM02." |
| Look at that color!!! I want the other colors so bad now!! |
| Yay for blue lashes!! |
| Moving on to bronzer, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. I used the shade at the bottom right. |
| Finally, some color in the face! |
| For blush, I used MAC Melba. Perfect for this look! |
| And for highlight, I used Becca Opal. |
| Yesssssssssss, werk that highlight! |
| For lips, I used this Maybelline Color Whisper in the shade "Coral Ambition." |
| And here's the final look! |
So there it is, guys! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! I had a good time filming it, haha. Like always, if there are any looks you'd like to see, please let me know in the comments below, or on my Facebook page. I would love to hear what you all are interested in!
