Hey guys! Long time, no talk! I'm fiiiiiiiiiiinally getting back to blogging. Tons of stuff has happened in the past several months. I got married, work has been crazy... lots of stuff. But anyway, I'm back and feeling super inspired and I can't wait to pump out some fun looks for you all!!
Today's look is alllllllllllllllll about the glow. I've been obsessed with dewy skin and highlighter. It's odd for me because I have super oily skin. So, my normal go-to is all matte everything. But I've been embracing the glow whole-heartedly, haha. Enough rambling... let's get started with the look!
"Fresh" faced? Haha. Super red today.
Using my absolute FAVORITE foundation - Estee Lauder Double Wear. This stuff is magic in a bottle.
Using the color 2C1 - Pure Beige
Buff that in, girl!
Foundation done!
And my skin still looks like skin!
For concealer, I'm using the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Honey.
I placed it right under the eyes. I'll buff that in using a stippling brush. Then I'll take whatever product is leftover on the brush and dab it on my nose and chin.
Concealer blended!
To set my face, I used the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Medium Plus.
Face is set.
Moving on to brows, I used my trusty Brow Wiz in Medium Brown by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Creating the shape I want, and then filling it in.
One brow done, one not. Big difference. Huge.
Both brows done!
To set the brows, I used MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof brow set in the color Emphatically Blonde.
Now that the brows are done, I'm moving right along to the eyes. For this look I used the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette.
You can't really see the name, haha... But the first color I used is the cooler toned brown called Mousse.
I used a big fluffy brush to blend that color right into the crease.
I then used Coconut Creme as my brow highlight. I'm going for a glow everywhere else, so I kept my brow bone matte.
Here's what we have so far. Sorry for the stank face...
For the inner corner highlight on the eyes, I used this Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Grandest Gold.
I applied it straight on to the inner corners...
Then blended it in with my finger.
To add a bit more highlight to the inner corners, I used Butter Pecan.
You can see this kit is VERY well loved, haha. To contour, I used the Contour Kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
I'm sure you can tell the color I used, hahaha. The color is Fawn.
Beat that face!
For blush, I used this Lorac Pro blush in the color Rosy Glow.
How freakin' pretty is this color?!?!
Blush and contour done!
Now, on to the good stuff. For the first round of highlighting... yes, the first round... I used Benefit Watts Up.
This is a cream champagney-gold highlighter. SO pretty!!
LOOK AT THAT GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I put this on the high points of my cheeks, on the very tip of my nose and on the cupids bow.
Now for round two of highlighting... I used the glorious Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. Specifically, I used the far left shade - Radiant Light - over top of where I put the Benefit Watts Up.
Lets highlight ALL THE THINGS!
For mascara I used Too Faced Better Than Sex. Ugghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... this stuff is AMAZING.
One eye done, one not...
Both eyes done.
For lips, I used NYX Butter Gloss in Eclair. And this completes the look!!
So, there you have it! A super easy, glowy look. This has been my go-to look for probably the past few months... no joke. I can't get enough! Highlighters are my new thing, and I need them alllllll. If you have any recommendations of products I should pick up, let me know in the comments below, or on my Facebook (Beautymark) or Instagram (__beautymark__) pages.
