Sunset Eyes

Hey guys! Today's tutorial is all about a color - warm colors, to be exact. I looooove warm tones on my eyes. I love warm tones on every eye color, honestly. I think they just make your eye color pop! So, that's what we're doing today. If you want to find out how I achieved these "sunset" inspired eyes, then keep on reading!

Bare faced! I reealllyyy need to find a skincare product that helps with redness and discoloration. If you have any recommendations, let me know!

For foundation, I used NARS Sheer Glow in the shade "Fiji."

Thank god for foundation!
As you'll see, I kind of jump around to different things in this tutorial, haha. I applied a primer to my eyes using the Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer.

Then I moved on to my brows... weird, I know. To fill them in, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in "Medium Brown."

Brows are filled!

Going back to my eyes, I first used "Peach Smoothie" by MakeupGeek as my transition shade.

I just applied that to my crease, like so.

Then I took "Chickadee" by MakeupGeek and applied that right over top of that "Peach Smoothie" shade we just used. This will darken up that crease a bit.

I wanted to use something colorful, so I took "Poppy," also from MakeupGeek, and put that into the crease as well.

This is what it looks like at this point.

I blended all that out with a little more "Peach Smoothie" just to make sure it was good and smooth looking.

To give a bit more depth, I took "Bitten" by MakeupGeek, and applied that in the outer V of the eye.

Like so.

Next, I took one of the most beautiful shadows ever - "Untamed" by MakeupGeek, and applied that all over the lid.

Look at that color!!

And again, I went in with a fluffy brush to make sure there were no harsh lines.

Next I took the Kat Von D liner in "Trooper" to lightly line my eyes.

That "Untamed" color can look a little harsh up against my lashes by itself, but I really wanted the color to be the focus - not the liner. So, I only made a thin line right up against my lashes.

Like so.

To tightline my upper waterline, I used Urban Decay 24/7 liner in "Perversion."

Upper eyes are done!

For concealer I used the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the color "Honey."

I just applied it under the eyes, like so.

To set the eyes, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit - the "Banana" shade.

Then, for the rest of the face, I used MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in the color "Medium Plus."

Face is set!

I used a combination of "Chickadee" and "Poppy" to smoke out my lower lash line.

For the highlight in the inner corner of my eyes, I used "Shimma Shimma" by MakeupGeek.

Packed that right into the inner corner.

And along my brow bone.

To bronze up the face, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit again.

Just lightly bronzed the face.

Then to contour, I used Benefit Hoola bronzer.

Get in that hollow, girl!

Oh yeah! Contour!

To continue the warm toned theme, for blush I used MAC Melba. SUCH a pretty peach color!

I love it!!

For highlight, I used Becca "Opal."

I applied it all along the high points of my cheek bones...

On the tip of the nose...

And finally, on the cupids bow.

For mascara, I used the Too Faced Better Than Sex.

Looooove the way it makes my lashes look! Also, you'll see in pictures on down... I applied a couple individual lashes to each eye. I'm not sure why I didn't catch that part :/

For the lips, I used the Rimmel Show Off lip lacquer in the color "Luna." I actually just dabbed a few dots of this on my lips, then blended it out with my finger. These lip lacquers are crazy pigmented, and I just wanted something light.

And here's the final look!!

And there you have it! A warm toned look, perfect for summer! I really hope you all liked this tutorial, as I had a ton of fun filming it. I hope you all have a great week, and I'll see you in the next one!
