Hey everyone! I hope you all have had a fantastic week so far. Today's post is a full face makeup tutorial using a lot of the products I got during my birthday shopping extravaganza, haha. If you haven't seen it, I did do a post last week on what all I got (makeup wise), with swatches and reviews of everything. That should be listed on the sidebar on the right side of the page if you want to check that out. Let's go ahead and jump right into this tutorial. All tips will be listed in the captions below each picture. Enjoy!
To prime my face I used the L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur. I reallllly like this stuff. It's not an exact dupe of the Benefit POREfessional primer, but it's close.
For foundation I used the Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + foundation in the color "35." Absolutely IN LOVE with this foundation!
It is a medium to full coverage foundation with a matte finish. The best thing is that even though it's medium to full coverage, it still leaves your skin looking like skin.
To prime the eyes, I used the Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer. You can tell this product is well loved, haha.
First I took MakeupGeek "Beaches & Cream" eye shadow and applied that all over the lid, from lash line to brow bone.
Next I took the color "Hipster" by MakeupGeek, and packed that right into the crease.
Like so.
Then I took the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in "Gilded Envy" and applied that from lash line to just under the crease.
Like so. The pictures don't do this color justice. It is such a gorgeous eyeshadow!
This is what you should have so far.
Finally I took the color "Moondust" by MakeupGeek, and applied that right into the outer-V of the eyes. Then I made sure to blend everything out so that I had no harsh lines.
Like so.
To highlight the eyes, I used "Shimma Shimma" by MakeupGeek.
For concealer I used the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in the color "Light."
As usual, I applied it in a triangle shape underneath the eyes, around the nose and along the chin.
I blended all that out with a stippling brush.
To set the face I used MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder.
The face is now set.
To bronze and contour, I used Benefit Hoola bronzer. Seriously love this stuff!
For blush I used the Milani Baked Blush in "Berry Amore." I really need to branch out and find/use other blushes...
Bronzed and blushed.
As always, for brows I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in "Medium Ash."
Brows are filled.
For mascara, I used the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing mascara.
I applied two coats of that mascara. Looooooove this stuff!
Finally, for lips I used the Rimmel by Kate Moss lipstick in the color "17." It is the perfect pinky-nude.
Then I topped that with NYX Butter Gloss in "Eclair."
And here's the final look!
I hope you all enjoyed that tutorial as much as I did! Love doing these for you all. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below or on my Facebook page "Beautymark." Thank you all soooooo much for reading and have a great rest of the week!
XOXO - Tabitha
