Hey guys! Hope you all had a great weekend! I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend :). Today's tutorial is all about this vampy, winter look. I absolutely love how this turned out! Usually, I either focus on the eyes, or the lips. But this look focuses on both a smokey eye and a bold lip. It's not a look I would wear to work, haha. I would definitely wear this out on the weekend though! So, let's get into it, shall we? As always, all tips will be in the captions below each picture. Enjoy!
I started out by applying primer and foundation. I mixed the POREfessional with the Miracle Blur to prime the face. Then I used the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3in1 foundation in the color "842."
Base finished!
Moving on to the eyes, I used the Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer to make sure this shadow stays on alllll day!
First I took "Peach Smoothie" by Makeup Geek and applied that all over the lid.
Then, from the LoracPRO palette, I took the color "Sable" and applied that right into the crease as my transition shade.
Like so.
Then taking "Pewter," I packed that right onto the lid, from lash line to crease.
Like so.
This is what you should have so far.
Next, I took "Espresso" and put that into the outer-v of the eye.
Like so.
Then, I went back to "Sable" and applied that to the upper crease with a fluffy blending brush, just to blend out any harsh lines.
For liner, I used the L'Oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense.
I created a wing, then took the liner all the way into the inner corner of the eye and emphasized the tear duct area, like so.
For the waterliner, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills pencil liner in the color "Covet."
Waterline liner applied.
Moving back to the face, I took the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind under the eyes in an upside down triangle. I also applied it around the nose, on the chin, and a bit on the forehead.
Like so.
Concealer blended!
To set that concealer, I used the MAC Prep + Prime translucent setting powder. LOVE this stuff!
Then to set the rest of the face, I used the Rimmel Stay Matte powder.
Face is set!
For contouring, I used the Benefit Hoola Bronzer.
I wanted a pretty strong contour for this look.
Instead of using blush, I used the NYX Matte Bronzer to really warm up the face.
Bronzer/blush and contour done!
Back to the eyes, I went back to "Sable" again and smoked out my lower lash line.
Like so. I took this color down pretty far.
Like so.
Then I used "Cream" to highlight the inner corners and the brow bone.
For brows, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in "Medium Ash."
Brows are filled!
I used the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing mascara and applied one coat to the top lashes.
Then, I applied my favorite lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies.
Don't mind the glue... it was still drying.
For lips I used the Kate Moss for Rimmel London lipstick in the color "04."
Sooooooo vampy!
And here's the final look!
So, there it is! A vampy, winter time look. I love this look! I know it's not super wearable for all the time, but that's the fun part about makeup, is being able to play and create different looks that can be worn for different occasions. I hope you all like this tutorial as much as I do. I would LOVE to see some of you try this look out! If you do, send it to me through my Facebook page, "Beautymark," or on Instagram, @__beautymark__. Thank you all so much for reading and have a great week!
XOXO - Tabitha
