Soft and Subtle

Hey everyone! It's almost mid-week, which means the weekend is getting closer! Seriously, I only have to work four days this week, and I'm already wishing for the weekend... Can I just win the lottery and retire already? Haha, yeah right...

Anyway, today's post is a soft, subtle makeup look. This is perfect for work, or anytime really. It's super simple to create, and great for those mornings you're pressed for time. I really love how this look turned out, and I hope you all like it too! All tips will be in the captions below each picture. Enjoy!

I look weird here, haha.

First, I primed my face using Benefit's The POREfessional.

Next, I used the Revlon 24hr Colorstay foundation to even out the skin.

Base is done!

I want my eyeshadow to stay in place all day without creasing. So, to prime my eyes, I used the Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer. This stuff is perfect if you have oily lids like I do!

Moving on to eyeshdaow, I took this nude matte shadow by NYX in the color "Get Naked" and applied that color from my lash line to the crease. (Sorry you can't see the color AT ALL... come on, Tab).

Now you can see the color a little better. It's a soft camel shade.

For the crease, I used this NYX single eyeshadow in the color "True Taupe."

I used a big fluffy brush, and blended the "True Taupe" all into the crease.

Instead of using a liquid liner, I decided I wanted a softer look. For this I took an angled brush and the color "Espresso" from the LoracPRO palette. I created a medium sized line along the lash line and winged out that color on each eye as well.

Like so.

Going back to the face, I used the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in the color "Transparent" to set the foundation.

Such a nice, matte finish.

To warm up the face, I used the NYX Matte Bronzer in the color "Medium." No contouring today, just applying the bronzer directly to the areas of the face where the sun would naturally hit.

Like so.

For blush I used the Milani Baked Blush in "Berry Amore."

I focused that more on the apples of the cheeks.

To fill in those brows, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the color "Medium Ash."

Brows are finished!

I packed on the mascara using the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing mascara.

Looove this mascara!

Lastly, for the lips I used the Maybelline Color Whisper in the color "Pink Possibilities."

And here's the finished look!

So, there you have it! A super easy, soft and subtle look. Hope you all liked this tutorial. I have soooo many fun things coming up for you all! I am excited!
