First Impression: Benefit Big Easy BB Cream

      Hey everyone! Today's post is a first impression on Benefit's Big Easy BB Cream. If you read my blogs at all, you know I love Benefit products. So, when they came out with a BB Cream made for people with oily skin, I knew I had to try it. This is described as "Bigger than BB" liquid to powder BB Cream with 35-SPF. All of these things sounded like Benefit made this product just for me. So finally, I picked one up.

I got this in the color "03 light/medium." I figured this would be great when I fake tan, as well as when that tan fades.

Here is half of my face with the BB cream, and half without. Looks pretty good, right? When I squeezed this product out of the tube, it looked just like a foundation. It wasn't thick, but it wasn't water thin either. I actually really liked the consistency. I squeezed out about a dime sized amount out, and applied it with my fingers. First con: I used A LOT of product just on one cheek. I thought a dime sized amount would cover more than half my face.

Here is my full face done. Again, I had to squeeze out a lot of product to do each part of my face. It may be just because I applied it with my fingers, but I can't be sure. My fingers don't soak up product, so I don't know. Looks pretty good from far away, right?

Well, when I zoomed in, and showed my profile you can kind of see what it really looked like on my skin. It was very sheer coverage. I didn't expect full coverage from a BB cream, but I expected a little more than this. You can still see a lot of the redness and discoloration on my skin. It also showed all the hairs on my face.

Here's a very up close shot. You can't see it very well in these pictures, but in real life it settled all into my pores and it was awful. Once it dried into the powder finish, it felt like it was almost dusty. Like, it made my skin look very dry. And I had JUST moisturized right before I put this on.

It seemed to settle right around my mouth and make it look very dry.

Overall, not very happy with this product. I will try it again, using a different method. Maybe applying it with a brush would be better. I just wish you could tell how it really looked on my skin from the pictures. In this picture, it looks pretty good, haha. If I end up liking it better, I will give you all an update for sure. But right now, this product is a fail for me :(. I wanted to like this SOOOOOOO much. Unfortunately, I don't. Sorry Benefit.
