My Office Makeup Look

Hey everyone! Long time no see. I'm just gonna say it... I have absolutely sucked at posting lately. I went from regularly posting three times a week, down to two, and now down to one. I do apologize to you all, as I know some of you really look forward to these posts. However, because of how busy I am, I don't want to make a set schedule of when I will post on here, because the amount of time I have to devote to working on looks, then writing and editing posts varies from week to week. I am so sorry I have not been consistent for you all. I will try to really work on my time management and get more posts up for you all.

With that said, let's move on to the actual blog post. I wanted to show you all what my real, every day office/work place makeup look is. This is the routine I do EVERY morning before work. I didn't skip or add any steps, I want to show you all what I really do. I like my sleep, so I don't leave much time for myself to do a full on look each morning. So, I delegate 10 minutes to doing my hair AND makeup each morning. No joke. The only thing that changes from day-to-day is my lip color. I love wearing different lip colors, and that's how I change it up so I don't feel like I'm in a makeup rut. Also, I pretty much always wear my glasses to work. I sit in front of a computer all day, and I want my eyes to be as comfortable as possible. Therefore, I put all the focus on making the skin flawless, and the lips colorful! Let's get into it! All tips will be listed in the captions below each picture. Enjoy!

Priming the face is a must! I primed with L'Oreal Miracle Blur mixed with Benefit the POREfessional.

I used the Covergirl Outlast foundation in the color "842."

I applied that foundation with a Morphe Brushes Buffing brush.

For concealer, I used the NYX HD concealer. I really really like this stuff. Not a dupe for the MAC Pro Longwear, but still an amazing concealer. I'm using this one because it's lighter in color than the Pro Longwear. And, because I'm always crazy tired in the mornings, I want my under eye area to look bright.

I applied like so.

And blended it in with a small stippling brush.

To set that concealer, I use the MAC Prep + Prime setting powder.

To set the rest of the face I used Rimmel Stay Matte powder. When using before work, I do put a little more on than normal.

Face is set!

To warm up the face, I used Benefit Hoola bronzer.

For blush I used the Milani Baked Blush in "Luminoso"

Skin is done!

For brows, I don't have time to sit and draw them out. So, I put a little Benefit Gimmie Brow through them, and I'm good to go.

Brows aren't perfect, but they'll do.

For lashes, I use 2 coats of the Jordana Best Lash Extreme.

To brighten the eyes, I use the Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye liner pencil in "White" to line the lower waterline.

Liner done.

For lips, I chose "Flamingo Pose" by Milani. This is one of those colors that just light up my face. So, it's perfect for work.

And we're done! This is a shot without my glasses.

And here it is with my glasses!

So, there you have it! My real, every day work makeup look. I love the way this looks. It might seem a little plain to some, but you can make it fun with the lip color! And it's easy and QUICK! I've mastered all of these steps, and I can do this look in 5-7 minutes. It's awesome. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this! Let me know what you think in the comments below or on my Facebook page, "Beautymark." Thank you all soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for reading!! See you soon!

                                   XOXO - Tabitha
