Review: It Cosmetics CC Cream

Hey everyone! Today's post is a review of the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream. If you read my last post about the Benefit Big Easy BB Cream, you'll know I didn't like that one at all. So, that one went back and I exchanged it for this CC Cream. I had gotten a sample of this a while back, and I really liked it! But around that time, the Benefit one came out and it sounded perfect. Big disappointment. This time I wanted to get something I knew I liked, and this CC Cream was it. This is the description straight off the It Cosmetics website:

"It's your full coverage foundation, brightening color, anti-aging serum, pore minimizing primer, dark spot corrector, moisturizing day cream, plus UVA/UVB broad spectrum physical only SPF 50+ all in one easy step! Infused with cutting edge anti-aging technology and is clinically proven to improve skin texture, brightness and increase skin hydration by 79%. Formulated with plastic surgeons to merge high-performance skincare with the benefits of color-correcting makeup. Plus, it delivers luminous and healthy looking skin with powerful anti-aging repair benefits for perfect coverage. Your supple and flawless skin but better!

       Sounds amazing, right?

I like the packaging. It comes in a pretty large tube. I was actually surprised at how big it was. It holds 1.08 fl. Oz and runs for $38. Verrrrryyyy pricey.

I got mine in the color "Light." The sample I received a few months ago was in the color "Medium." It was a little dark on me, and I wanted something I could wear year-round. Oh, and please excuse my nails, haha.

It has a pump, which I was very surprised about. I figured since it was in a tube, that you would just squeeze the product out. But, I am extremely happy that it has a pump! Less of a mess!

I didn't know how much to start out with, so this is a pump and a half. I actually ended up using two full pumps for my entire face. The consistency is VERY thick, but easy to work with and blends out smoothly without feeling heavy on the skin. It does have a lemony scent. It's not overwhelming, but it is definitely noticeable. So, if you hate the smell of lemon, you won't like the smell of this product at all. I don't mind it though :)

This is one half of my face done, and one not. Right off, it felt wayyyyyyy better on my skin than the Big Easy BB Cream. It feels like an actual foundation. It has a dewy finish, which I don't mind. I'm used to that type of finish, and I don't mind having to powder my face. So far so good!

It says that it's a full coverage CC Cream, but I would say medium to full coverage. You can still see a bit of redness along my jawline. I added another very thin layer over that area of my face after this picture, and the product built up beautifully. It doesn't look cakey, it looks like skin - which I love!

This is with my whole face done. Looks very natural!

This is the other side of my face. Again, you can still see some discoloration along my jawline and back towards my ear. Thanks teenage acne years!

Here is an up-close shot of my skin. You can see how dewy the finish is here. It didn't settle into my pores or make my skin look dry and flaky like the Benefit BB Cream did. It's exactly what I expected out of this product.

Another up-close shot of my face, haha. The only thing I added here was one coat of mascara. I really love the coverage of this product. I love that it has SPF in it. I haven't tried it with flash photography, so I'm not able to say if it gives a white cast because of the SPF. But, more than likely, I'll be wearing this out during the day. Probably not at night when flash photography would be used.

Overall, I really really love this product. I've actually worn it to work the past two days, and I can say that it lasts a LONG time and wears very well. And surprisingly enough, I didn't look like an oil slick by the end of the day even though it has a dewy finish. It holds up great and doesn't move when you powder over it. It's just perfect. I love it! A definite must-buy if you're in the market for a CC Cream!! A+!!
