Naked 3 Tutorial

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Today's post will be a full-face tutorial using the new Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. It's official. I. Am. In. Looooooove.....with this palette. I have never been more excited about a "Naked" palette as I have been with this one. It's just absolutely perfect. The colors are all so beautiful and pigmented. I just love it. You could sit here and listen to my ramblings all day. But I won't do that to you, haha. Let's get started with the tutorial, shall we? As always, tips will be in the captions underneath each picture. Enjoy!

Annnnnnd, we're done! Just kidding.

First I primed my face with Benefits The POREfessional.

Next, for foundation I used the Revlon 24hr Colorstay foundation in the color "250 Fresh Beige."

The Revlon foundation has such good coverage, while still leaving your skin looking natural.

Moving on to the eyes, I used the Lorac "Behind the Scenes" eye primer.

This step is completely optional. I used the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "604 Milk" as a base for the eyeshadow we're fixing to use. Putting a white base down before using eyeshadow really makes the color pop and stand out more.

I just applied it messily all over my lid.

Next I took my ring finger (as you can control the pressure you apply with this finger better than any other) and blended out that white base from the lash line to brow bone.

It should look something like this once blended out.

Now for the good stuff!

First, I took "Limit" and applied it directly to my crease. This will be our transition shade.

Blending.

Then I took "Trick" and applied it all over my lid underneath the crease.

Pack it on there.

You should now have something like this.

Next I took "Nooner" and blended it into my crease to darken it up and give it some depth.

I kept this color more towards the mid-to-outer crease.

Then I took "Mugshot" and applied it to the "outer-V" of my eyes.

I turned my brush at an angle, and swept the color inward.

It should now look something like this.

Then I just took a big fluffy brush and blended out the edges.

Much better.

Now for liner. I wanted a brown liner for this because I felt that black would be a little harsh with this look. For this I used Maybelline Eye Studio in "Espresso." I used a Real Techniques "Fine Liner" brush to apply it. And ew....what is hanging off of it?

I created a winged liner... as always, haha.

Moving on to concealer. I used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer. Love this stuff.

I put concealer in a triangle shape underneath my eyes, around my nose and on my chin.

Now we're concealed!

To get rid of the shine, I used Rimmel London's Stay Matte pressed powder in the color "Transparent."

Such a light-weight powder, but it really does the job.

Now for contour, I used the NYX Matte Bronzer in the color "Medium."

I applied this in the hollows of my cheeks, around my hairline and under my jaw.

For blush I used Milani Baked Blush in the color "Berry Amore."

It gives just enough color, and the perfect amount of glow.

Back to the eyes. I took Rimmel London's Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in "White" to line my waterline.

This is a very bright white liner. Super soft and perfect for using on the waterline. Using a white liner on your waterline will open up your eyes and make the whites of your eyes look whiter.

Next I took "Limit" again, and applied it on the outer part of my lower lid.

Like so.

Then I used "Trick" in the middle and inner part of my lower lid.

Like so.

I used "Strange" as a highlight for my inner corner and brow bone.

For brows I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in "Medium Ash."

One brow done and one not. See the difference it makes?

Both brows are now done!

For lashes, I used the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara.

One eye done, and one not. This mascara is like magic. Seriously.

Mascara is done!

Last, but not least, is the lips. I used this NYX Butter Gloss.

In the color "Merengue." Cannot get enough of these glosses!!

And we're done! Such a soft, feminine look. Love it!

Bonus!! Here's my sweet Dachshund, Shelby! Isn't she so cute?

"Mom, let me down...."
